Represented municipality as Plaintiff in a civil RICO case.
April 2015
Town of Mamakating, New York v. Shalom Lamm, et al: David represented a municipality plaintiff in a civil R.I.C.O. action against a developer and others for engaging in an unlawful voting fraud scheme to take control of smallest village in New York State. The action led to subsequent federal criminal charges, guilty pleas, and prison sentences for what the U.S. Attorney called “the worst case of voter fraud in the modern era”.
[RICO was dismissed but served as partial template for the Indictment].
