Filed Amicus Brief in United States Supreme Court on behalf of NORML, NYCCIA and HVCIA.
February 2018
Marvin Washington, et al v. William Pelham Barr, Attorney General, et al: David filed an Amicus “Friend of the Court” Brief with United States Supreme Court on behalf of National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, New York City Cannabis Industry Assocation, and Hudson Valley Cannabis Industry Association in support of the Petition for a Writ of Certiorari arguing that the deliberate actions of the three coordinate branches of government created a supremacy and nullification crisis under federal law requiring the Court to invoke the doctrine of estoppel to prevent further enforcement of the Schedule I designation under the CSA.
[Cert was denied by SCOTUS]
